The Education Committee creates an awareness within the faith community of the responsibility of all of the faithful for the catechetichal mission of the church. Policy recommendations are made for the catechetical ministry to children, youths, adults and persons with special religious education needs. These recommendations are made in support of the catechetical mission of the diocese. Recommendations are made to promote the faith growth of the church community. When recommendations are accepted, the committee advertises and supports the implementation of all classes, bible studies, retreats and special guest speakers. The Education Committee works with and supports the Worship and Liturgy and all other parish committees. They also maintain the parish library as a source of spiritual reference.
