Lent Is Almost Here
Lent will begin with Ash Wednesday on February 14. Make Jesus your Valentine! Put Him first! How? You can prioritize your daily activities and plan to put Jesus first. Most of us are retired and busy with self-centered things. How much time do we spend preparing for our eternal life?
This is the 40th anniversary year for St. Francis of Assisi parish. We are striving to become a Family of Families. Jesus is the Head of our family! During Lent the Divine Mercy Chaplet will be recited on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:45 a.m. Accept Jesus’ invitation to start the day with Him. Come as often as you can. Say the Chaplet and Stations at home if you can’t come to Mass.
We invite you to celebrate SFA’s 40th anniversary year by once again signing up for Dynamic Catholic’s email program Best Lent Ever. Each day you’ll receive an email with a short video featuring Matthew Kelly and a member of the Dynamic Catholic Team.
The program is free! All you have to do is sign up at Dynamic Catholic.com/Lent. This year’s program is based on Matthew Kelly’s book Perfectly Yourself which you can order for free through the website when you sign up. You just pay postage. But the program is enlightening even without the book!
