Catholicism 101 is an informal experience similar to a class, workshop, or seminar. It is also a time of faith sharing. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 2:00 PM in Sheehan Hall. Parishioners (and their guests) engage in discussions and questions of learning about their Catholic beliefs, some scripture, some faith sharing, and clarification of sometimes confusing ideas or traditions. Therese Brennan brings an agenda with resources and handouts that have evolved from participants' primary interests. The agenda may or may not be covered in the 90 minute session. It all depends on the participants' questions.
No matter what Catholic topic arises, people find it to be fun and stimulating, giving much to ponder before meeting again, and sometimes raises questions for the next session.
