Join us on May 29th for a morning of reflection centered on the Eucharist as we conclude our year of Eucharistic Revival activities here at St. Francis and prepare for a deeper encounter with Christ in the Sacrament. We will begin with morning Mass where we receive his Holy Body and Blood, are transformed, and made a sharer in his divine life.
After the Mass, we will gather in Sheehan Hall for a lite breakfast and two video sessions. There we will explore the biblical roots of the Eucharist, meet Jesus in the breaking of the bread, and gain more insights into His Real Presence and the invitation to praise and worship Him outside of Mass. Small group discussions will follow each video segment.
Deacon Gary will share a reflection on "The Real Presence in Adoration" and Bernadette Harvey will share a reflection on "Saint Justin Martyr on the Early Church".
We will conclude the morning program with Exposition, Adoration and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. Come and learn more about the source and summit of our faith.
