Christina Seaman took up quilting in 2000 and became an avid quilt maker. She works with colorful fabric and all kinds of quilting methods from piecing to appliqué, many also with beautifully finished backings. Over the years she has given quilts to family and friends and now she has a heart for Haiti.
Christina and her husband moved here and joined Saint Francis of Assisi parish about 1-1/2 years ago. She is providing a wide selection of designs and colors in a sale of over 50 various sized quilts that will be held Memorial Day weekend in Sheehan Hall for funding the Kobonol Mission Project in Haiti. The entire 100% of funds raised will be given to Father Meaux in June when he visits our parish. Please support this worthwhile project and delight in this opportunity to share these reasonably priced quilts with loved ones for holiday gifts, birthdays, or any celebration. Christina’s unique quilts will brighten any season or occasion with their joyful themes.
All quilts are being sold on “First Come, First Served” basis. They will be available for purchase in Sheehan Hall Memorial Day Weekend at the following times:
Saturday May 28th from 12:30 – 3 PM
Saturday May 28th after the 5:00 PM Mass
Sunday May 29th after the 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM Masses
Payments are by cash or checks (made out to Saint Francis of Assisi Church). Quilts will be picked up at time of purchase. All sales are final.
As quilters know, “Quilts are made with love and bring comfort to those who are blessed with them.” Please join us in spreading love for Haiti and enjoy a quilt.
