• Stephen Ministry is Christ  Caring for People through People

  Purpose:

  Our parish Stephen Ministry program has prepared over 20 Stephen Ministers to provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individuals in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives.  Stephen Ministers provide the emotional and spiritual care needed when people are faced with a crisis or difficulty such as:

  Hospitalization, Terminal Illness, Accident Recovery Divorce of Separation Loss of a Loved One, Loneliness, Discouragement Spiritual Crisis Relocation, Unemployment, Financial Crisis     Stephen Leaders are trained leaders in our congregation who oversee and direct our Stephen Ministry.  Talk with one of our Stephen Leaders or our Pastor if:   You or someone you know could benefit from the care of a Stephen Minister, or You have any questions about Stephen Ministry.     Pastor Father Michael Woods 931-456-0415     Stephen Leaders Ken Messerich 931-484-6877 Pat Masson 931-456-1020 Mary Vivian White 931-456-6581 Janeene Lemieux 931-456-5186   Each Stephen Minister is matched with a hurting person.  Men are paired with men and women with women.  Confidentiality is of paramount importance in our Ministry.  The Care Receiver and the Stephen Minister meet weekly to listen, care, pray and encourage.
